Berkelocene
In a world where reality is broken, the deadliest thing on the battlefield is what you believe you see.
Berkelocene is a cinematic first-person shooter set in a future where reality can no longer be trusted.
Adapt. Fight. Survive. In development at Nano Cry Technologies. Team Deathmatch, four against four, on the LAN today.
The future did not end in fire. It shattered reality itself.
Across a dying world, experimental technologies have torn apart the boundaries between truth and illusion. Cities twist into impossible landscapes. Battlefields shift without warning. Entire armies disappear behind walls of deception.
In the chaos, humanity's last factions wage war for survival.
Every firefight is a test of instinct. Every decision could be fatal. And in a world where the environment changes around you, trusting what you see may be the quickest way to die.
Trust your instincts. Trust your weapon. Never trust your eyes.
Two teams of four. Each operator plays a class, one per slot on both sides: Assault at the front line, Marksman at range, Runner as the flanker, Engineer with the ammunition and the quicker return. Pick yours in the lobby or in the match; every class levels on its own, with a skill tree of three branches to spend it in.

Hitscan rifle and pistol, aim down the sights, sprint, crouch, recoil you can learn. Two arenas: Factory Yard and Fracture, a yard torn open by a trench.

Host a match, see your friends arrive by team, ready up, swap sides while the teams stay even, set the map and the rules, and count down into the arena together.

Your operator, your class levels and skill trees, your weapons with their fitted upgrades, and a daily sign-in, all on one screen before you play.

Weapons level with hits and kills. Four slots, three tiers each: a reflex or a scope on the rail, a compensator or a suppressor on the muzzle, more rounds in the magazine.

Your team's health at a glance, a compass, your weapon's state, and the score. Everything else is the fight.

The type, the interface, the maps and the tools are Nano Cry's own. Every picture on this page is the game as it runs today.
Berkelocene is in development. Matches run on a local network today: one player hosts from the Player hub and the others join from the list of matches on the network or by address.
